What would happen to your pet if something happened to you? In the event of an emergency, you need some way to let others know you have a friend that depends on you and who needs care. Our Emergency Alert Kit includes an Emergency Alert Card and Emergency Alert Caregiver Instructions to help you do just that. All you have to do is follow the instructions to create the wallet card. When you're finished, you can fill in who to contact in an emergency. Then, download our caregiver instructions and fill in all the information you need to tell someone in order for them to take good care of your pet.
The Emergency Alert Card should be kept in your wallet, preferably, attached to your driver's license so that it can be easily located. The Emergency Alert Caregiver Instructions should be given to anyone who you would like to take care of your pets if you're not able to. You can even keep a copy secured to a bulletin board or the refrigerator for your pet sitter. Just be sure to discuss the instructions with your caregiver so that you can answer any questions. Taking care of someone's pets is a responsibility, so be sure the person you choose is willing and able to fulfill this task and, that your pet is well acquainted with them.
